The new prisma VENT Series of Home Ventilators, turns the future into reality now. Users appreciate the simple operation and the no-adapter-required compatibility with the accessories from the prismaLINE. The complete set of ventilation modes and pressures up to 50cmH2O make flexible usage possible even under changing conditions. The functions AIr Trap Control, Trigger lockout and the expiratory ramp ensure safety and comfort in ventilation of COPD patients. Integrated graphic elements offer useful information at all times so that every parameter can be set correctly.
Prisma VENT50 ventilates patients via a leakage circuit and additionally can ventilate via a disposable system with exhalation valve. Other functions and features in prisma VENT50 include pressure- and volume-controlled mouthpiece ventilation modes (MPVp and MPVv) and LIAM (Lung Insufflation Assist Maneuver) for cough support and secretion management. With these enhancements to the previous prisma devices, an even broader spectrum of diseases can be treated with the prisma VENT50. The new device is equipped with a complete alarm management system, integrated power supply unit and a rechargeable battery with a capacity of up to 12 hours.
