AirCurve 10 Vauto, ResMed
The AirCurve 10 VAuto by ResMed is a bilevel positive airway pressure device designed for non-dependent obstructive patients with spontaneous breathing effort (from 13 kg and above) who require pressure support and enhanced comfort.
Modes of operation: CPAP, Spontaneous (S) and VAuto
Features:
- Climate Control: When combined with the H5i heated humidifier and ClimateLineMAX tube, it automatically adjusts and maintains the ideal temperature and humidity for the patient based on real-time environmental conditions.
- Easy-Breathe motor: Ensures exceptionally quiet operation (24 dBA) for more peaceful therapy.
- Easy-to-use controls and color LCD: The color LCD screen and intuitive interface make operation simple and user-friendly.
- SlimLine and ClimateLine tubes: Ultra-light and flexible design prevents tangling and drag for greater comfort during sleep.
Therapy Technologies (available in S mode):
- Vsync: Manages mask leaks and maintains synchronization between the patient and the device.
- TiControl: Regulates inspiratory time limits according to the patient’s condition, ensuring optimal ventilation.
- Trigger and cycle sensitivities: Adjusts the sensitivity with which the device detects the start of inhalation and exhalation. Offers 5 triggering and 5 cycling settings.
- Backup Respiratory Rate: Preset at 10 bpm with on/off option for additional safety and adaptability.
